Mysore is a city in karnataka state. Karnataka is situated in India.

Its one of the best tourist spot in karnatka. Mysore has many notifiable spots to be visited. Some of them are the Mysore palace, Zoo, Brindavan Garden. A hill spot known as coorg, the Iruppu waterfalls,Tibetean monastry and temple, Bamboo forest. Mysore has many hotels for staying.

Mysore Palace 

Its a palace constructed with Indo-saracenic style.Its one of the main tourist attractions in India.During holidays its flooded with people and mainly during december with school children. Photographs should not be taken inside the palace.



Mysore Zoo

The zoo has many animals and birds which include elephant, tiger,giraffe,rhino,spotted deer,monkey,peacock etc. It takes around 2-3 hours to have a complete look of the creatures present there.Among the animals present there notable were the Giraffee,Elephant,Tiger,Chimpanze and Rhino.A giraffe undisturbed by none walks in its way.




Philomena church - Mysore

It is one of the sacred places to visit in mysore. Some saints burials are inside this Church.Cameras are not allowed inside the church and also footwears. It stands majestically as one of the oldest monuments in mysore and serves as a prominent tourist spot.


Brindavan Garden - Mysore

Its one of the most famous garden present in the country. It's present adjacent to the krishnaraja sagar dam which is constructed across the kaveri river.In the evening fountain show is being held there with good lighting effects.Boating facility is also available at the garden.




Coorg

It's an hill spot present near mysore. Rail roads are made only for few mountains in India such as the darjeeling,ooty and the one near pune. Other places are connected through roads only. Coorg is a nice place to visit.More coffee plantations are made in coorg. On the way to coorg you can visit the bamboo forest,tibetean golden temple and in coorg a place called Raja's seat is there where you can have a full glimpse of the town.


Tibetean Golden temple near Mysore

It is situated near the mysore - coorg road. When you move from mysore after reaching some 10km you have to take left and can head to the monsastry. In the morning they will be having prayers so it is better to have a visit in the evening.The construction is fantastic and public is allowed inside to have a worship.



The inside view of the temple to which visitors are allowed during certain time only as the monks will have a worship all the time.More people visit this temple and pray for their personal reasons.
The Grand look of the entrance of the temple which attracts visitors at the first sight.Its a monastery with a place for monks to live and practice worships,prayers and so on.

Iruppu falls 

It is near mysore and the buses are not that frequent to the waterfalls. Nowadays nobody is allowed to bath there in the waterfalls you can just see the water flow.A small bridge is there where you can have a photo shot.



Bamboo forest near Mysore

It is a small picnic spot where you can see a small river, can have a elephant ride, can see a deer sanctuary,a bamboo forest.If there is more water you can also have a boat ride.There are small shops which sell some food and they can also be feeded to the deers which is present inside there.



Elephant ride is also available there with about 2-3 elephants present to take you to the ride.It takes people a ride into the small bamboo forest.

This small river above is present in the spot and enough waters should be present there for you to have a boating
Other notable spots are Raja's Seat , Coffee estate .
